SAVANT Global Copper Monitoring Index
SAVANT provides near real-time reporting for up to 95% of global copper smelter activity, including China, and can report on individual smelters, regions, countries and companies. Our indices are scientifically measured, industry validated and updated at a high frequency.
Data is collected by high-resolution Earth-observation satellites and analysed using AI and computer vision techniques, with over eight years of historical data available.
Our data is used by sectors such as metal traders to analyse the effect of smelter activity on copper prices and those in the supply chain as advanced warning of excess or constrained supply.
