Our Technology Transfer Programme is designed to enable defence clients to acquire, operationalise, and evolve cutting-edge AI, machine learning (ML), and computer vision technologies for satellite data analytics. This programme facilitates the secure and structured transfer of proprietary models, algorithms, and associated intellectual property (IP), empowering defence organisations to build sovereign, mission-ready capabilities in space-based intelligence and decision support.
Programme Objectives
We deliver sovereign capability by transferring full ownership and operational control of advanced AI/ML models and analytics pipelines. This enables our partners to accelerate operational readiness, allowing for rapid deployment of proven technologies into defence ISR and GEOINT workflows. We ensure IP ownership and control through full legal and technical transfer of IP, documentation, and source code. To support long-term sustainability, we help build in-house capacity to maintain, adapt, and evolve the transferred technologies.
Core Components
- Technology Assessment and Customisation
- Evaluation of mission requirements and operational context
- Selection and tailoring of AI/ML models (e.g., object detection, change detection, anomaly detection, terrain classification)
- Alignment with defence data formats, security protocols, and infrastructure
- IP and Asset Transfer
- Legal transfer of intellectual property rights, including source code, model weights, training datasets (where permitted), and documentation
- Licensing and export control compliance
- Secure delivery and verification of digital assets
- Integration and Deployment Support
- Technical integration with defence ISR and GEOINT platforms
- Containerisation and deployment in secure cloud or on-premise environments
- API development and interface customisation for operational use
- Training and Knowledge Transfer
- In-depth training for analysts, data scientists, and system integrators
- Documentation walkthroughs, codebase orientation, and model retraining guidance
- Embedded support during initial deployment and operational testing
- Sustainment and Evolution Planning
- Roadmaps for model retraining, performance tuning, and capability expansion

Benefits to Defence Clients
We enable operational sovereignty by giving full control over critical AI/ML capabilities without vendor lock-in. Mission agility, allows rapid adaptation of models to evolving threats and operational environments. Our approach delivers cost efficiency by reducing long-term costs through in-house ownership and sustainment. We also ensure security and compliance through alignment with MOD and allied security standards and data governance frameworks.
Security and Compliance
All transfers are conducted under strict security protocols, with personnel cleared to appropriate levels. The programme adheres to UK export control regulations, ensuring lawful and secure technology handover.
