As a participant in the European Space Agency’s Network of Platforms initiative, Earth-i is attending the Big Data Value Association (BDVA) Summit in Valencia on the 30th November and the 1st December. Owen Hawkins, operations Director of Earth-I is looking forward to discussing the future of Earth Imaging in the emerging market for space-based Big Data analytics. Particular areas of interest are the need to properly network and integrate with customers and suppliers to enable the large number of anticipated Big Data applications and not just refine business processes. The BDVA is an organisation implementing the EU Big Data Value Public Private Partnership and as a data provider, Earth-i is keen to play a key role in enabling access to imagery and data for big data users. If you are also attending the summit Owen is keen to talk to you about this emerging trend in satellite data application.
