Earth-i at DGI 2018 in London

Earth-i is attending the DGI 2018 conference for the second year, and this time is delighted to be a sponsor and exhibitor. DGI is an annual event for the geospatial intelligence community with a specific focus on safety and security taking place in London, 22-24 January 2018.
DGI is Europe’s largest gathering dedicated to high-level discussion addressing the major challenges of the defence and government geospatial intelligence community. DGI hosts both a conference, as well as a large exhibition which attracts visitors and exhibitors from across the world.
Earth-i will be located in the main exhibition hall, on stand number 21. After the successful launch the VividX2 service demonstrator satellite earlier this month, and the announcement of their Vivid-i Constellation, Earth-i will be showcasing the potential of full-colour video data from space, and the benefits that this will bring to the international safety, security and defence sectors.
As distributors for many other very high resolution satellites and optical data sources, Earth-i is also available to provide support and advice in terms of acquiring valuable images for driving today’s geospatial analytics, and supporting the techniques to extract information and insights.
Richard Blain, CEO of Earth-i, said: “As our constellation of very high-resolution, high definition colour video satellites grows, we will be able to offer services to the security and defence sectors that have not been seen before as a supplement to numerous services already provided. We’re delighted to be attending DGI to connect with our partners and engage with potential new clients in this increasingly important sector.”
