Earth-i named as Crown Commercial Supplier

30th June 2022 – UK-based space data analytics company Earth-i is delighted to announce has been named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) Dynamic Purchasing System Marketplace for Space-enabled & Geospatial Goods and Services.

Crown Commercial Service (CCS) supports the public sector to gain the greatest commercial value when buying common goods and services

The Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) Marketplace supports Public Sector customers to access data, technology and solutions that utilise remote geospatial, locational, communication and sensing capabilities of space, aerial, and land-based platforms, to maximise public sector services. Customers are able to purchase solutions from commercial ‘off the shelf’ hardware or software, through to more involved development or data acquisition projects, and to professional services supporting the design, operation or assessment of services and solutions.

This agreement specifically serves customer requirements that require specialist knowledge, expertise or capability covering the key sub-category of specialist space-enabled & geospatial suppliers. This is the first time the wide-ranging capabilities of specialist space-enabled & geospatial suppliers in one place, in line with the national Space and Geospatial strategies published in 2021. Further this agreement ensures the appropriate suppliers are accessible to provide the right service offerings, to reduce procurement timescales and ultimately to provide an easier route to market for the type of space-enabled or geospatial product or service.

Charles Davis, CEO Earth-i added “It is great news Earth-i is a CCS Supplier and that the DPS marketplace allows Public Sector customers to quickly purchase specialist space-enabled & geospatial suppliers in a simpler and faster procurement process.”
