EARTH-i will be attending Reinventing Space 2017 which takes place in Glasgow between 24 – 26 October 2017. The Reinventing Space conference and exhibition is organised by the British Interplanetary Society.
This year’s Reinventing Space Conference focuses on space applications that are becoming commercial viable, including video from space. This annual event brings together industry, agencies, Government, academia and end users.
Owen Hawkins, Operations Director of Earth-i, will be at the conference and participating in a panel session on Tuesday 24 October at 17:55. The session discussion will be centred around Small Satellites and Space Commercialisation in Low Earth Orbit (LEO). The discussion will be chaired by Alex da Silva Curiel who is currently Head of International Business at Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd (SSTL), and include representatives from In-Space, Astroscale and SPIRE.
Owen will be sharing the capabilities and potential applications of the new Earth-i Constellation – Europe’s first Earth Observation constellation to offer high-resolution full motion, full colour video capability. Earth-i has partnered with SSTL to develop these revolutionary satellites.
