23 September 2024 – London – The Earth-i team is pleased to support the London Metal Exchange by sponsoring LME Week 2024, taking place on 30th September 2024. Held in London, this premier event brings together leaders and innovators from the metals industry, and we were excited to be a part of it.
We’re looking forward to meeting the many friends and colleagues from across the metals market we’ve connected with over the years.
We’ll be showcasing our SAVANT platform during the day to interested parties and hope to have some interesting conversations. We already provide empirical insight to some of the world’s largest quant funds and active investment managers who gain access to advanced, early and reliable market data, enabling them to achieve superior risk-adjusted trading performance. Miners, smelting operation suppliers and some of the largest physical traders in the world also benefit from SAVANT’s data.
Using advanced satellite imagery, SAVANT provides near real-time data on copper smelting activities, enabling a high-level of accuracy when looking to track production levels. The chart below shows SAVANT tracking the level of inactivity across the world’s copper production capacity.
LME Week in 2023 was a successful one for Earth-i and we fully anticipate 2024 to be the same. We’d like to extend advanced appreciation to everyone who visits our booth or takes the time to meet up with members of the team. Conversations like these are invaluable as we continue to refine and enhance SAVANT for the benefit of all those involved in the global copper market.
